New Weapon Concepts

I thought it would be good idea to redo some of the weapons, like the pistol,
nex, crylink, etc. I still like some of the weapon models like the machine gun
and hagar. I think they just need new textures.

I came up with a new pistol concept. I tried to keep it Nexuizy.

The orange parts are the colors that will coordinate with your character's. Tell me what you think.

It would also be great if everybody can submit a concept for a gun.
It doesn't matter which gun. You don't need to have any drawing skills,
it is just concept work. As long as your idea is clear. If everyone comes
to an agreement then I will model that concept.

I like that... it fits pretty well with the Nex style, but looks almost more practical.

This does look good, but what's wrong with the current laser? :S

Considering that the current laser model is already similar to your new conception drawing, I'd say that the only two changes necessary are to reshape the handle, and add some more minor protruding details.

When you say pistol, did you mean laser?

On your conception drawing, I personally think that model is too generic.
Not yours in particular but the overall shape and look. I've very similar before.

And I agree that it is similar to the current laser. Maybe alter the shape or try for a different look?

I have to say, there are 4 weapons, I wouldn't touch:
Laser, electro, rocket launcher (yes, I LIKE the old one), mortar. But the others maybe could use some replacing.

I like the old one better.

Edit: I like the old one because It's bigger. I don't feel the laser should be a pistol. It should be larger then a pistol, but without going overboard. Also, the current one has much more detail, Ivan's is good, but It's lacking some elements from the old laser that I really liked. Also, it would not make much sense to use such a small gun to do a laser jump...

Um, from now on let's not just say "I like it" or "I don't like it". Your going to need an explanation for the way you feel.

You can say you don't like something, but your going to need an explanation or I won't take you seriously.
