@Ivan: What about taking the handle of your new concept and the front part of the old one, as your handle looks much more practical imo. Otherwise no one will see the difference ingame (maybe the people with fov 140 ) so the work may not be worth it... But overall your concept looks really professional. Great drawing-skills! The concept is just too generic like others have said.

@C.Brutail: About the Crylink. Good Concept but i don't see how it fits to the projectiles that it uses right now. Reminds me of the Smartgun in the Aliens movie. More rapid-fire like then the crylink is right now.
