Favorite map theme

I've seen this poll on various quake forums I figured we should have one here as well .

So, what is your all-time favorite theme for a Nexuiz map?

Oh, mine is Gothic, probably because of my subconscious obsession with Quake 1. Yeah.

Ooh trixy one. im not sure i have a fav theme, looking at the maps i made thats preddy clear methinks Im not to found of city maps tho. My main influenses are scifi/goth/industrial i guess.

I'm split between space and factory. Both look really good, especially if they have normalmaps.

I never have time to play , and it's hard to pick a favorite style, something between the sci-fi space and the industrial, but, it's always good to change up a bit.

My favourite maps are probably the green marble floor/ walls ones in Doom 2/ Final Doom. Also I like those sandy coloured ones in Quake 1. Pretty similar style those, I guess. Kind of medieval.

And some sci-fi ones.. Tokay's Towers in Quake 2, also there's a futuristic city map in Halo 2 that I like. Also I know it's not a deathmatch map but I like the last level in Quake 2 single-player, the one where you are about to go into the teleporter to go to the Makron. I loved looking out across the Strogg city skyline..

My Favorite Map Theme is hm, somethin like evil space.
I like maps that are open and buildet off platforms, cause it makes movement a bit more difficult and u can aim over the whole map in most cases.

Doesn't matter what the appearance is.
It could be some citylike thing, like that in Morpheus, Somethin like Evil Space, i think its industrial or somethin this direction, or somethin completly different.

my preferred map theme is random. a healthy balanced mix of various themes, be it cosmic, urban or medieval. i'm fine with everything, as long as there's enuff diversity.
