On this one map I'm making when I try to create a bsp, it's working perfectly, but at the very end it says

safe_malloc failed on allocation of 265289728 bytes


Does anyone know what is wrong with my map, or what I am doing wrong?

I make a bsp final (Q3map2: (final) BSP, -meta, -vis, -light -deluxe -fast -filter -super2

Then I basically stops and then after 4 - 5 minutes it displays that script in gtkraiant.

Sounds like it needed 256 MB of free memory and you didn't have that much free?

I tried taking the skybox out and I worked perfectly... does anyone know why, or does that relate to ram or space?

Ram.
Lighting takes up less ram on compile w/o sky fucking box adding to it.

Quantum Field Theory?
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
