Fully GPLed of course, and all that cool stuff. And of course not as dark as the crappy original - its darkness and the bad texture alignment is what made it so extremely crappy, now you can fully "enjoy" the layout *eg*
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Does not appear to be working... I'm getting some pushmove errors and I don't see cellshaded textures

You probably are just using blueamuse81.pk3, which is wrong and has exactly the bug you mentioned.

That's very blue with a small amount of mauve slipped in.:shock:

I noticed some odd lines when I spawned, they're in the piccie above - an unwanted diagonal and another nearly vertical.

The lines could be caused by my low powered ATI 9550 card, I have Nexuiz set to low quality and as much detail switched off.

Great job, looks a lot, lot better, nicely illuminated, but it is still a huge map.

The lines are caused by q3map2's crappiness, combined with the map's author not aligning brushes to the grid correctly :P I took the map as is, I didn't modify anything of its structure. All I did is fixing the SV_PushMove error message and switching it to cel shading. I know no automated tool to "re-grid" the brushes.

Thanks for the explanation.

I've also seen the odd lines in other maps and assumed they were caused by my local setup.

I prefer a higher FPS vs bling, although when I do turn the settings up Nexuiz does look very, very nice. Maybe one day I'll invest in a better card :D

I played a cell-shaded map on Nexuiz for the first time last week. At first, I didn't like it because it was just...strange. But then I decided that it was really cool. As long as the colors aren't too vibrant, then it makes it really easy to focus on the players. It feels like playing in a comic book world.

Hm. Re-Gridding could work by selecting all brushes and then pressing Ctrl+G
bleach->aneurysm->straledm5->dieselpower->space-fun->o-fun->runningman->runningman1on1->aggressor(conversion)->soylent->bloodprison->bluesky->ruiner->reslimed->strength
