vuze wasn't the best choice, it was confusing for me until they guys on IRC enlightened me to the torrent link.

I haven't had time to watch the entire thing but what I have watched so far is interesting. It's always refreshing to watch someone who knows what they are doing .

The subs are a bit distracting and it would be better with a voice over but overall I believe this video tutorial will positively affect the community.

Morphed , you just became my #1 hero . thank you so much . i am a beggining mapper and have read bubba's tutorials , clankillers tutorials . this vid tut will definately help in the arsenal of knowledge for nexuiz mapping . i have a map i am working on but i am not happy with it entirely . maybe this will solve some of my problems .

edit: Just watched the tutorial . nice work . the quality is pretty good and you can see all the menu options clearly enuff. fast mapper too .
Can we expect more vid tuts from you ? Maybe a lighting tut for instance ? also would you like for me to make a zip of the file for easier downloads and put the vlc player in along with it ?

I just watched it and think this is a great help for a lot of beginning mappers. I see from the readme that nobody was willing to help you when you asked on irc, a shame I wasn't there then because I would have loved to help on this. But the way it is it is very useful anway, very easy to understand.

I agree that a voice over is better in this kind of thing, then maybe use the subtitles to show which keys are being pressed.

One question I have is that you don't seem to be using caulk at all. Is this intended to keep it more simple for the beginner ?
