Well its possible to do a dark/black skin but still have enough contrast with all the interesting things. Also the wicked skins hardly use the button-over colors like in the old default skin. You can't see a slider react to the fact that you put the mouse cursor on them..

And regarding contrast.. i like wickedyellow quite much, it already has good contrast and also fits in with my current 'wasp' theme for the gnome desktop which is also orange/yellow. Just the mouse-over thing is missing which still makes the default skin my prefered one.

Wicked Z takes advantage of these.

Hmm, how are those done? I'd like to try that for wickedyellow, i really like it quite much and that thing is the only thing missing from it IMO :)

And i like Z's idea but maybe a thing inbetween would be nice. While Z's is almost to vibrant the currently used (in svn) wickedblack is too low contrast..

:?: The last time I checked there was a map selection tab, with a list of available maps and a preview, even recognising new maps when put into the data folder. :?:

Anyway, I am not a fan of -z-'s wild mixture of missmatching colours :P. But I can understand the wish for more contrast. So I am going to create my own revision and upload it tomorrow.

I don't really like this constant colour changing, so I decided to only distinguish between on and off (except for the buttons).
I created the Wicked Series to make it as easy as possible to change colour informations. You only need to alter the skinvalues.txt (change the _F colour values).

I intended to do a (small) revision of Wicked, based on -z-'s suggestions.
But the v1r1 turned into a v2, with almost all the graphics renewed, and this takes a bit longer than planed.
