They are however (at least as presented on the picture) too big. One eyeball here and a finger there would do good. With this (if you have gibs enabled) it would look like a slaughter house.

The specular highlight is too high and they look too plastic or rubbery. I think if you would try to eat those you'll get a rubber effect (like a rubber band type). Toning down on the specular highlight and give them darker red color I believe would be a better approach.

Imo they look as rubbery as the rest of the character models.
So it fits the game more atm. Anyway meat is supposed to look wet.
My problem with them is that the texture almost looks like they were cut with a bread knife. Atm they look a little like wood pieces painted in red.
And downscaling would be a good thing also.

The player models doesn't look rubbery anywhere, what crazy settings do you have?
However, even though the specular highlight adds a little to the "wetness" in this case it brings out the rubber in them more (because it's over a bigger area). Also, I believe it's the bumps that creates the "wood" or "rubber" or whatever material, while the gibs themselves are smooth. It just doesn't look right. But also, take a look at the machine gun, the darker red (just above 296) looks way more wet and way more gib-ish. It's because gibs, or intestines doesn't have crazy specular highlights all over them, they have it on concentrated areas (much like the machine gun).

Dunno, but these look quite plastic/rubbery to me. Look at the reflection on the shoulders. Imo this doesn't look like metal, more like an action figure.
Meat reflections are okay, but change the texture a little, so that it looks more ripped off than cut with a bread knife :P

apart from the fact that i prefer metal, you do realise that metal is more medeval style (which would actually fit on Farewell :P ), while plastic/ceramic compounds or Kevlar are more hitec.
