Vermeulen released all player/wepon models/animations some time ago. They are all in 3DS/SMD format iirc. You can get them here:

Why aren't those included in the source archives?

I took the liberty of putting the model source files onto sourceforge.

1. Where's zmodel's source?
2. What made the SMDs? If it was that Blender script, where's the .BLENDs?

You can get it from darkplaces cvs repostiory:
Code: Select all
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.icculus.org:/cvs/cvsroot/twilight login
(enter anonymous as password)
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.icculus.org:/cvs/cvsroot/twilight checkout zmodel

2. What made the SMDs? If it was that Blender script, where's the .BLENDs?

I don't think the models were made with Blender.

1. Might wanna put that as a download on SF too.
2. Was it 3d's Max? In that case, if 3DS's were provided, the models could be edited with free software.

Yet another bump. I'll keep on with this until Nexuiz is 100% editable with free software.

Why do you need to edit the source models? Make your own.

Still can't do much with that if you can't export them into the proper format for Nex compatibility, which is what he's asking about.
