Changed the shape now and made some minor changes. I will probably make those 'handles' which hold the rods a bit bigger and possibly even change the shape just a tad so it won't be as circular as now. Nothing major, but I wanna try it out.

Ok guys, I think this model is pretty much finished and I'll be starting to UV unwrap it and then start with the texturing process, that is unless anyone has any objections or other comments about it. It's still circular and all just not a 'perfect' circle so to speak.

Maybe it could have some legs to animate standing on the ground, sticking onto the wall. :D I'm glad it doesn't have those sharp spikes anymore.

I don't think legs are such a good idea for the portals. These stick to walls and stuff as well and having it protrude outwards wouldn't be good.

That portal looks great. Now all it needs is some sexeh particles in the center, and it's perfect :D

Suggested that because thought that animated portal would be interesting to watch. You drop it and it needs some time to deploy. It shouldn't protrude unless you drop it in some hole, dunno.

Just a quick update. The bulk of the texturing is done, now only the details, such as light and whatnot are missing.
Then a red one will also be available.
