Postby jlue2051 » Sun Sep 21, 2008 6:40 pm

Hey people! I really want to build maps with my MacBook! But i have NO idea how to
install MacRadiant 1.4 ! I read some topics but all were about that you need Quake 3 data.
Do i really need it? How do i get it? I don't have Quake 3.

Help fast please :<

Here's some of what I think you have to do (haven't done this myself, so who knows):

Unzip the data20080511.pk3 (or something similar to that) in Nexuiz's data folder. Create a folder in the Nexuiz folder (or probably anywhere else) called "baseq3". Move the following files from the unzipped .pk3 to the baseq3 folder: env, maps, models, scripts, and textures.

Then you have to fool MacRadiant into thinking those are the q3 files it needs. How do you do that? I dunno.. B/

This might help.

And here's my MacRadiant 1.4, but without documentation, cause I don't have the disk image anymore.
