YES!!
Finally something's changing with the models!
Now I just have to get the hang out of Blender again. I noticed, that I've forgotten pretty much everything during this month of portfolio-work :D

It's looking amazing on the screenie, but the animations are sometimes kinda weird. Dunno, if it's just the (non-existant) animation blending thing, or something else. I see where the jump-animation was heading for, (Matrix-like uber-jump :P) but you should separate the animations, so that it's more obvious, when he's in mid-air and when he's running on the floor. Imo his legs are moving a little too much, while in air.

That's my two cents. ;) Keep it up, man!
Jeez. Finally a new model... A dream come true...

Now excuse me, gentlemen. I have to watch a lot of Blender tutorials.

Looks like a very nice model. I love the rediculous amount of gibs in that video too :D

The model looks great indeed. And I actually love the walk animation when he's in air, don't know if it's going to be changed or not though.
There should be a strafe animation as well IMO. It just looks odd when he's sliding without moving his feet.

can you or someone redo all the models? i don't know but i think it would not be much work if 2-3 people do it. Just that they look a bit better.

Too bad none of this will ever be useful for Nexuiz, as he uses "non-commercial" licensed content, which is incompatible with the GPL Nexuiz is licensed under (and which can't be changed either).
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Please don't let this turn into OpenArena... Which parts are licensed? The mesh or the textures? For my own model I have to learn about texturing anyway, so I could give it a try, if it's only the textures.
