Ok fellas. In this thread I'll be posting textures which I make and you guys can use them for whatever you want. I have all the textures available as 2048x2048, including normal maps. But these that I post will only be 1024x1024 (including normal maps).
If anyone want the 2048x then you can PM me and tell me which one(s) you want. I'll then upload them to ai.planetnexuiz.de and then you will have 72 hours to download them. The reason is that the 2048x ones take 12MB, while the 1024x goes at 3MB, and I don't want to fill the ai.planetnexuiz.de server up with these textures. Currently they are at 180MB total for the 2048x.
They are available as .bmp.

With time I'll ad more textures as I make them. I'm posting these as I go as it might take some time before I have a good compilation and if people want to use them now for something they shouldn't have to wait. As I don't know what my first compilation will be complete.

Great stuff! Always good to see new textures.

Would setting up a torrent for these be a good idea to get around the bandwidth troubles?

Ah hah! Those tile textures with the blood are the ones I had been looking for when I was making 'The Death Factory'.

I'll need to make a new version with those textures amongst various other changes. I''ll PM you later.
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

Added two new metal textures. Enjoy.

Also, I changed the second normal map at top (the 'Scifi' normal map with the circles). The one I had before was incorrect so I fixed it. If you saved that old one, throw it away or replace it with the new one.

I created two variations of the current teleport texture. It's not very much unlike the current ones but I just wanted to give it a try, so I quickly just slapped something together.
This wasn't even planned, I tried to make a texture for the portals model but instead ended up playing.
If you want to use them ingame you either have to create a .pk3 or replace the ones that are in the main 'data'.pk3 inside 'Nexuiz/data/'.
They are located here: textures/savdm6ish/
and it's called '#teleport.jpg'. So you have to it exactly like that. These are nothing special, but I figured I might as well share them. I'm using the blue one, I like it a bit better than the orange one.

Two more textures. I made the sewer lid for morfar as he needed on for his map. The other one I made for fun (before the sewer lid actually). The sewer lid normal map contains alpha and it should work just fine in DP according to morfar. But if you want to use it in some other applications which do not support that I can export it to another format. If so, just gimme a shout, or a PM.

Nice. Those blue tiled lights are reall reaally really like the unreal1 "tech" style! Nice! Are you going to put them in svn? The 1024x versions seem nice.

I don't know, I don't have commit access but if people feel like it they are certainly welcome to include them. I can also output higher resolution if anyone wants.
