I'm now happy with the overall layout and design, but I'm getting stuck when I try to add meaningful details. I'll have to take a break from this and refresh my head, let's hope new year brings new ideas :)

When you finish with the high poly model, would you mind posting the project file? I think I could learn a thing or two from it

Yeah sure, but it might take some more time, due to the above mentioned reason. And thank you all for your support, it's a nice morale booster when things get frustrating :)

This may be too late, but I think the handle looks a little stubby, something that might be shorter than my palm is wide.

Once you do pick up on this agian I might have a suggestion. The pipes at front look too pale and boring. They don't quite fit really with the overall model, looking too simple. If you add a threaded barrel or something like that would be more fitting.

This is a threaded barrel, if someone wonders: Click me

It's not too late, in fact the handle is not yet finished, as I mentioned before, it's more of a frankenstein temporary thing to help me get an overall feel of the shotgun.

This is just one part of the model suffering from me not having any ideas how to add details. I'll consider your proposal once I get back to it :) thanks for the suggestion.

Looks somewhat like my cordless electric screwdriver
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
