producing textures correctly

Postby Grasshopper » Wed Dec 24, 2008 12:03 am

I have a question about making textures .

I just found some software called texture maker v3 and am currently learning its ways . I want to know if there is anything i need to know concerning the textures i produce . for instance, do they need to be a certain size ? Do animated textures need to be made in a certain format ? alpha shaders , you tell me .

any heads up on this ? i just want to make some textures right , the first time .
Master ? Do you call me Grasshopper because I am cunning and stealthy?

TGA, TGA, TGA.

Animation is done via shader, at the cost of frames per second.

Must be powers of 2 in size.
