I think isn't a good idea to use only a japanese symbol...

Maybe integrating it in some kind of graphical clock, even stylized, with gray/dark colors, like nexuiz logo style.

Haha. No, there's a turtle realy, but it's not used in code (I haven't seen it yet, tho I've had the infamous spf sometimes).

Btw. I agree that the clock is ugly.

I hardly ever see the clock.
But the clock is not beautiful. But as some say: the clock don't always come up when there is lag. So an Ethernet cable can be out of place sometimes.
MAybe the engine can be changed to show different icons. This may be considered a bug...

But thanks for the contribution. This is how Nexuiz development works You contribute, and community judge if it's good to have as default.

Very strange... the turtle icon isn't present anymore, but there is the code to load it (that fails indeed). The command to show it is showturtle 1 and should show the turtle when the framerate is too slow. Strange.

Better but you went a little heavy on the outer glow of the '力'. I suggest you add a 2px dark gray stroke around the outside and increase the density of the glow while lightening the opacity.
