Texture blending on meshes?

Postby Clueless Newbie » Mon May 25, 2009 5:45 pm

Got texture blending to work with brushes, using NetRadiant 1.5.0 sv233, which came with Nex. So far so good. but:

When I try to use texture blending with meshes, NetRadiant crashes and burns. Am I doing something wrong, or does blending just not work with meshes? Are there switches that need to be set for this to work?

<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
<Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D

sounds like a protocol error caused by a shader.

Regardless of what you write in a shader, the editor should never crash because of it. what kinda protocol error are you thinking it is btw?

void readshader()
{
//protocol here
};

type. it seams like its having trouble applying then rendering the shader to mesh.md3. netradiant lacks the ability to properly render meshes with shaders otherthan the default md3 shader.
