How to make fog

Alright I have no idea how to make them work. Whats all this about setting particle types and bgm files and....

Tutorial anywhere?
Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

Doesn't look like theres anything in there... I can't seem to get it to work so I'm at a brick wall now!

On this note of particles, how can I use a point particles to simulate rain/falling water?

(in this case, its for my assault map. I want the player to destroy a pipe, and then have it begin spraying water)

The worldspawn is the single entity stores the noninteractive parts of a map.

It includes brushes, the skybox, etc.

In Netradiant, type "L" for entity list, scroll down to the bottom, there it is.

Select it and type "N" for the entity inspector.

If you want to have an example, take a look at mentalfog.

yes but how do i add the line:

fog [strength] [color]

in it :roll: :roll:

As Key you enter "fog".
As Value you enter "1 0.2 0.2 0.2 0.997 800".
Then you press return.
