How to make players spawn without a weapon?

Postby TwistedLincoln » Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:36 pm

I'm working on a custom map using NetRadiant, and would like to have players spawn without a weapon -- weapons will be located in a seperate part of the map that they will have to travel to.

Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing it?

Add this to the mapinfo:

settemp_for_type all g_start_weapon_laser 0
settemp_for_type all g_start_weapon_shotgun 0

Works fine for me... Thanks!

Oddly, though, when one tries to use the scroll wheel on the mouse, messages indicating that certain weapons are unavailable on the map are displayed at the top of the page... These messages disappear when one picks up a weapon and then uses the scroll wheel. Any thoughts as to how to keep this from happening?

That's probably a bug you'd better report on http://dev.alientrap.org!
