No, why do you assume that?

Did you even read the opening thread? No ofcourse not. I wanted to use a .zym as a statue. There does not exist a .zym of me.

I used nexus.zym.

You are a pathetic hypocrite that you want answers for your questions and when someone posts a comment which is not helpful you immediately attack them. But when you make random useless comments it's totally ok?
It doesn't matter who said to give useful comments, but you the least have the right to say that.

I agree that I'm pathetic, because I'm in a pathetic and unchangable situation: *more bla*

EDIT:
Edit this one more time and I will delete this post. One more time after that and the whole thread goes.

www.morphed.planetnexuiz.com/mulder.dae import that collada file into blender and export as obj or md3 or ase

keep in mind that this model is rather high poly, so dont make more than 4, visible at same time

*more bla that has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this topic*

same as Iraqi women's right movement, but maybe you find that connected with nexus statue in your map, somehow :P

Navigate to: trunk/misc/mediasource/ and open players.zip

Extract mesh.smd of a playermodel, and import it to blender. (apparently only the static mesh option works for me with this importer, so no textures :()

There's a much better way, which I didn't post earlier because I thought is was widely known...

Get the scripts you need for blender:
http://toolz.nexuizninjaz.com/modeling/ishan/justscripts.zip
use "update menus" in a scripts frame to make them visible or just download the whole deal
http://toolz.nexuizninjaz.com/modeling/ishan/NexuizBlender.zip

STEP 1.
extract the zym of the character you want to make a statue from your pk3.

STEP 2.
in blender select the bones (armature) and pose it in pose mode.

Now you have some options:
STEP 3 A (the native radiant way)
Export a .map from the export menu. Open the map file in radiant and copy and paste the brushes into your other map. I recommend you scale the statue by setting the scale option in the blender export script. Use the texture replace function in radiant to replace the null texture with the shader of your choice.
Upside: Any texture/shader you want (try water) because your mesh comes in as brushes.
Downside: UV is lost and sometimes there are minor errors in brushes.

STEP 3 B (the .ase way)
Export an .ase using the unreal static mesh exporter.
Put the ASE in the data/models folder.
Edit the ASE in your favourite text editor, replacing the null (or default) texture with the texture of your choice.
Open radiant and import the .ase.
Upside: Pose is perfectly imported.
Downside: A bit tedious I guess.

STEP 3 C (the .md3 way)
Rename the applied material to "textures/materialXX" where materialXX is the name of the texture you wish to use.
Export a .md3 using the md3 exporter.
Put the md3 in the data/models folder.
Open radiant and import the .md3.
Upside: Pose is perfectly imported i'll assume.
Downside: I never got md3's to work with radiant although i know they can. I just use ASEs. Sorry.
