UPDATE: After deleting a few mac/linux specific files, and compressing the app using the PortableApps AppCompactor, I have cut away 30 MB. Keep in mind, I have only used an automated compresser program, and deleted some non windows files. The dedicated server functions are untouched, textures and graphics haven't been compressed, all source/readme/unused files are still there, ect. In fact, 20MB can be cut off the official pacage with compression alone, leaving all linux/mac files. But, thats for another topic. I'll post what I have now for you guys to check out soon.
Hello. I'm trying to make a smaller, and slightly more USB friendly version of Nexuiz WITHOUT removing maps, or dulling down graphics/features. To do this, I am going to use UPX to compress files, remove the dedicated server feature, delete any unneeded files, and delete any files used by the Mac and Linux versions that are not needed by Windows.
If you know of any files that can be deleted, or any compression tips, please share them.
