this thread smells funny.

last i head of it Yoda almighty was still working on the model to make it work with vehicle code.
HOF:

<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along

me? code? i couldn't code my way out of a paper bag xD

i am still waiting for oblivion to finish texturing, but if you want i can upload the model for you to play around with.

actually, i think i already did somewhere...

Please upload it. If it's only textureing that needs doing, that can be done later. It is customary for nexuiz models to initally have not-so-good-textures that will be make better later.

I haven't heard from oblivion since 2 weeks ago after he released all those nice maps, I hope he's not gone for another year (like last time) :/. He's a good artist and makes nice things.

TZork: You need to keep on these modelers, see how they slack off for ... 3 months! (with the vehicle) :P

not the code Yoda almighty, the model itself. yeh you did and for one it was way to high poly. there was a few other thing too iirc, but i cant remember what anymore. at any rate i should work on the stuff already i already added first in the event i get some time and motivation. if there was a nice textured model it would be a different story, but as it stand now i dont feel any motivation for writing that code.

I've created a buggy,(and I'll be able to rig it) but no one wants to texturize it! :(
I think that this is the main problem that the nexuiz community doesn't want to understand. We need ROLES!If I model a vehicle, another texturizes it. another writes the code, and so on, every week we would have a new model!

Another thing: we need a DOCS page at the top of the forum (with 3 or 4 manuals,not more, but complete and clear)!Why nobody gives me attention? :(

i will see if i can lower the poly a little. i have learned a little more about meshes since than.

Tondude: uv mapping is hard. No one likes to do it.
But, I personally would rather have an untextured 4 wheel vehicle to play with than nothing. I don't know how to program for nexuiz though.
