Pyria Character Model (remake)

Postby Oblivion » Thu Mar 11, 2010 3:01 pm

C. Brutail's request. Just reusing the Umbra body mesh/texture and added a different head.

The hair is still experimental (I used as little layers as possible so it's not quite as spiky as the original pyria model), wanted to see how much it will affect its performance. div said he'd take a look at it.

Cool, but is it just me, or the ears are a little lower?

cool cool coool!Oblivion, you're a master. No doubt about it.
Just two notes:yes ears seem to be a little mispositioned and it seems that there's a non-joined verts line in the middle of the model

Anyway, great!

Thanks guys. :) Fixed the ears. Also reupped it as zip for Kay (although please do get a copy of 7zip, it's opensource too, fast, free and opens rar, zip, and 7z. Also compresses smaller files usually)

P.S. for the verts. Hm. Where? if it is on the body, unfixable I'm afraid. A result of quadifying it. It's not noticeable much but I'll avoid things like that in the future. If you see it on the head it's probably the texture map overlapping a bit with the black background. Haven't had much time to check it closely. But can be easily fixed by touching up the textures.(which can be done at any time)

Much better now. I like the turtle neck BTW. And the material looks like it's fire proof.
Really nice.

I would really like to see these models in-game.

I really like it, especially for so few polys. Does it have a real fullbright skin?
