Can't be nexball... in NB, there are no weapons enabled by default.
Or it still can be NB ai with weapons enabled.
Or the trail.

Or both :D

No.... no........ no..... Jesus you all took off with that screenshot... It's a new gametype called keepaway.. And also, it won't be in 2.5.2.. Maybe 2.5.3. But after 2.5.2 is released, i'm going to set up a public server with it.. And i'll need testers.

Essentially, the goal of keepaway is to capture a ball and hold this ball for as long as you can (Or with winmode 1, the goal is to get as many kills as you can while holding a ball)
Do it yourself, or stop complaining.

My attempt to create a new playermodel.
Currently messing around with the diffusemap.
Still prrretty WiP:

The model: (has about ~1900 faces - counted in Quads and tris - 3500 tris)

(Face amount on that screenie is wrong)

My only problem is that I'm too lazy, and collect frags instead of painting textures :)

eh, not exactly. there are some slight differences, but for the most part very similar. we do need some movie-based models though.. :D

Indeed.
It was exactly that concept-image that made me doing him ;)
Changed some parts though - just out of the reason they would be to HighPoly probably.
I'll try to do them with a Normal-map later.
(btw: Does Nexuiz support proper Normalmapping? As I've seen some nmaps on the wepons I guess it does...)


Glossy & Glowmap will also come.

Hm... I should open a new topic with the next update...

Yes, it supports normalmaps.

name it as:

xyz_norm , and the engine will automatically use it.
