This'll be a deathmatch map. I try to catch the basic feel and layout with this room. Once I'll see the concept, I'll release a very plain alpha, with no details and texturing at all, only the geometry will be done, so you can test it and give me more feedback ;)

Looks like a good plan to me :)
Nice statues and a good approach on the theme.
I like the dark-starship-touch :)

Just finished a simple little map thats egg and bacon inspired. I always thought a slightly slower version of it thats a little more 'noob friendly' might be a good idea. Tried to keep most of the speed though. Should have angled some of the middle walls a little different but overall I'm pleased since the map only took a little while to throw together.

Hi people. Heres the map I am working on for Nexuiz: I cant seem to get bump mapping working though. If the texture is called texture.jpg then all I have to do is add a bump map called texture_bump.jpg right? I tried this, but it doesnt work.

Looks very promising whitewolf !
But the lighting is way too flat.
Also try to get more structure in the walls. Is it set inside a gigantic tree or in a cave ? can't tell from the texture ;)
About the _bump: Be sure to compile your map with the -deluxe switch enabled for the light stage.
