Continued the work on a half new DM map, an offspring of Killall Organic. It'll be called

Sacrifice

(ask HarryButt about this ;) )

Some screenshots:

I've made some more space in the middle area, and I've reworked the pillars in the middle:

I've opened the room from the Nexgun, now you can hop in - and out from it:

I've corrected the doors, and I've closed the way to the right side. I'm not sure about it yet, but I think there'll be a teleporter out:

Because I've closed the other way, I've made some stairs that lead...

over the place, where the nexgun bunker is. Another nice, open space to fight... I'm not quite sure yet what to build there, I'm opened for suggestions :)

Oh, and the torches will be removed, thanks to Morphed, I've got some realy cool torches, fueled by the new particle system of the engine:

Wow looks really beautiful. I already liked killallorganic a lot and now with some more open spaces and eyecandy - this will be awesome.

As for the phallic association I suppose you could see a phallus almost everywhere, if you really wanted to. I for one didn't have that association at all.
<Community>: Why was the name "Nexuiz" licensed to IllFonic in a way that allows IllFonic to use the name without any suffix or subtitle for a commercial console game?

Started on a 1024 skin, click for fullsize.

I'll probably GPL the model once the skin is done so it can be used with the current animation set. I intend to make custom animations for this, but that'll take ages (I'm a n00b animator) and add months to the release time.


...and that broken wall in C.Brutail's map only looks phallic if you're actually walking around looking for penis-shaped objects ;)

New shotgun - early high-poly model, but the general base design is done. Will post more when I have more to show. Not sure when this is going to be due to college and stuff.
