Vehicles?

How do you think vehicles could be added? It should be possible using just the gamesource QuakeC, but I'm not entirely sure where/how to add them, although I have some QuakeC knowledge.

Vehicles would be neat to see, but there'd be a problem of not having large, outdoor maps, due to a shader support problem :P

If they could be implemented well, they'd be good to see, but I'd hate to see them feel kinda tacked on an underdevloped like in Alien Arena or, heck, even Quake IV :P

First the engine needs a more realistic physics engine. IE Bullet *hint* *hint*. tHe main problem now is the lacks of spring type connectors (can be hacked around) and the lack of arbitrary rigid body physics

You can use the Airquake code. I even have modified version with mechs somewhere.

Here is a ingame screenshot:

The model on other game.

This model is crappy, for the high nexuiz standars. And the airquake code is a simulator, not arcade at all, but I think will work.

I think vehicles do not fit the Nexuiz style.. its just a plain Deathmatch game. But in case someone wants to write a cool mod those might fit in.. :)
