Spidflisk Modification - Sources and Progs.dat

Postby Dresk » Sat Aug 19, 2006 1:07 am

05/31/2007 - UPDATE : Source merged into Nexuiz 2.3 QC.

09/08/2006 - UPDATE : Source merged into Nexuiz 2.1 QC.

Hello everyone,

I am the author of the Spidflisk modification and host of the server All Out War. I am releasing the source of my modification under the GPL (previously it was unreleased).

You may find the source code, progs.dat, documentation and my server's autoexec and maplist configuration at the following directory :

http://www.spidflisk.com/Nexuiz/SpidfliskMod/

In the event that you have not heard or tried my mod, please read the Documentation.

The source package you should use is : Spidflisk-QCSrc.7z

The documentation is Documentation.txt. The DevSource folder simply contains the source in web-viewable form.

If you use the modification, please respond to this thread and let me know. I would be very appreciative to have an idea of those whom enjoy the mod.

Previously, it wasn't released at all, but just playable on a server. That is perfectly fine with the GPL.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

I've set up a modded server on DCC's Delight (80.82.220.60:26001, but also in the master server list)

I am merging the 2.1 QC changes into my 2.0 mod base by hand right now. I should have it done soon. I'll post here.
