in a rune match such scores are normal. take all the runes you can and hide. well, not all the time, hide near armor and 200 health. everytime they are here, get out, kill people and get back if your badly wounded... isnt the funniest way to play i know. thats why i dont like runematch that much

of course cheating cant be totaly wiped out
but a few precautionary mesures are cool
personally, i wouldnt like a checksum on textures or stuff, cos i may wanna change em - though not necessarly all textures to white and players to spotted pink to make it easier to play

bearing in mind, one of the best things that could be done perhaps is:
excelent admin system, rcon multiple admins etc
amazing spectator stuff, to view others from first person (perhaps with limits)
its often not too hard to tell if someone is using a wallhack or aim bot while watching them from first person

back in the old days, i played DAOC for a while, when you connect to a server, it checks checksums your files, not jsut to see if your cheating, but to see if an update is needed
i copied a bunch of stuff i wanted changed into another folder, also had a spare blank folder, made a couple of batch files to swap stuff around, and the system was broken jsut like that...
(put yellow smiley faces on the ground among other things)

of course trhat was many years ago, and i wouldnt be cheating now
