What is a T-junction? I feel like I should know this. :)

Thanx to everyone for links to tutorials,thankyou UT for putting edtor in game to start with,perhaps lee and the team might consider doing the same if allowed by law in next update of game it would be easier especially for those that have used unreal ed before and have an idea of shaders,textures,nodeing etc.
Good work,praise and thanks to all those working on making more good maps.

I started this tutorial. I didn't get into how to make a pack... but I think it's a good starting point for someone new to mapping.

I would like to add my favourite for Quake 3, Jk2, Jk3, Half-Life, Crysis, UT, and all the other branches from those to the list.

This site has a very active forum for help, although they won't be able to help you out with any Nexuiz only mapping. They have a full range of 152 tutorials (currently) mostly on entities and scripting, but a large amount of shader tutorials, getting textures to work ingame, etc, and loads of mapping tutorials.

I would also like to add a Quake 3 site called

simonoc.com

He is a Quake 3 mapper and texture maker with links to all the good sites for seeing others work etc. He has some very useful tutorials on manual rock walls, (joined up, may I add) and using alpha blending with DotProduct2 (if Nexuiz supports this... does it?)

Finally, once more up and coming site by the famous Astrocreep is here:

There are individual sections for all the Quake games and Source games, but the Quake forums are probably what you want and are the most active.
