Well i have no clue about mapping so far but its on my learning list like forever so i guess a nice Nexuiz specific tutorial (for radiant from svn which has support for Nexuiz through the Nexuiz gamapack) would be very nice to have. But it seems only a few people here have the knowledge to help with such a tutorial..

I think the active mappers of our community are Strahlemann, tZrok, and myself. I personally, still learning some stuff with mapping, so proly only Strhle and tZorks has all the knowledge to start (I personally only like to teach, if I know all from alfa to omega).

Thinking about it, it's not useless, but it's a very big project. I'm not pessimistic, but thinking about myself, I'm still elarning at a uni and I barely have time to do my own projects, real life stuff, , so proly "grown up" men of our community won't have time time to do it neither. :(

OK, I've started to write it. I'll make a website of it, currently I only have the beginning in raw txt.

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!! :-D

What you've written thus far is a very good start.

So far, my favorite Radiant tutorial of the ones that I have reviewed is this one... http://clankiller.com/games/quake/gtkradianttut/

What you have so far looks pretty damn excellent. When I get more time (perhaps next week) I'll try to follow the tutorial and give some feedback.

Ok, I have some free time while at work, but I can't access that tutorial through the firewall due to the 808 port. :(

Care to put it up here? : http://av43.uw.hu/nexuiz/ where your text version is located.

I'm bubbling this topic back to the surface in hopes that it will inspire something more to happen in this area.

I never got around to learning Nexuiz mapping. School and work just got in the way and a took a long break from Nexuiz for a while. I may try my hand at mapping again soon.

Kinda off topic but i use gtkradiant 1.5 because i couldn't find a good 1.4 download. Worse yet, the tZork patch will be tricky for newbies. Maybe i'll contribute some "radiant 1.5" notes and screenshots because this is really important.

Isn't the nexuiz wiki still up?
