New 1vs1 tournament being organized: Use overtime feature?

I really did not want to say anything about this poll, especially considering the ass I made of myself last time, but I had to. We've both discussed how poor the community interaction usually is with these circumstances, and by modifying the results of the poll you send the message that the peoples' vote does not matter. That is the quickest way to make everyone indifferent. Please understand I'm not calling you a dictator. I only wanted to correct this problem before players feel disenfranchised.

I must agree, overtime is an excellent idea when not sudden death. Had I known you were going to do it that way (you said no when I first asked), I would have voted for it to too. Perhaps others voted no because they too thought they were voting for/against sudden death. By the same note, perhaps people voted for overtime not knowing they were voting (at the time) for sudden death.

While no need, I'm sure if you repolled with only TWO options and clearly stated the overtime is a timelimit and not sudden death, the results would be a landslide in favor of it.

EDIT: I think two minutes sounds great. I think anything less is too little and anything more than 5 is too much.
