I want to plan for this, but I have nothing to go on. I don't really care if its only a 2 day plan (funny story in that), but some estimation of how long/play times/etc... would be nice. If it runs past the 18th I won't even be in the country.

The tournament site doesn't say when the tourney starts. It just says when the sign-ups end. I've heard different things now. Will it be a week after sign-ups? A day after sign-ups? 2 days after signups?

W00t! In case I can get my pc to work fluently (maybe buy another one?) till the deadline, I'd hop in too (currently my hdd is fried )

If all goes right, the tournament will start Monday and players will have a week per round to play their matches. Players are encouraged to play their matches faster if possible.

I planned on making a newspost on the tournament site but I've been to busy, sorry about that.

On a good note, I setup a NY 1v1 Ladder server that I plan to keep for the tournament duration. mkzelda should have his server up and running soon too and I believe Dokujisan as well, so we'll have 3 Ladder servers in different locations

yeah, I'll close the signups at sunday noon as I need enough time to prepare the following steps, like rating players, preparing group stage (including the map cycle) etc.
