Hello,

I went through your commit history, and found:

http://code.google.com/p/osxnetradiant/ ... etail?r=45 - Add Q3Rad_Manual from GTKRadiant 1.5.
DON'T. IT IS FROM Q3PACK AND NOT UNDER THE GPL.

http://code.google.com/p/osxnetradiant/ ... etail?r=12 - removing that check may fix the message, but still causes stuff to be broken/cut off.

Rest seems fine. That GLint/GLenum thing may need an ifdef for the platform, though.

I went through the patch set using a merging tool, and will commit most of it to my repository.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Wow excellent, and thanks for the note about the Manual.

The patch splitting works wonderfully, at least on OSX..
but merging is still something weird.. I can only merge two 3x3 patches until now.

The http://code.google.com/p/osxnetradiant/ ... etail?r=12,
as far as I can tell, the assert msg itself would be no problem.. a few msgboxes to click away;
but this I think does crash on one of the Ascii which it should convert (and that closes radiant)..
Code: Select all
m_decodeMap[extended_ascii_to_index(c)].buffer

Yes the Glenum/Glint will be osx specific I guess.. but I had no idea how to make that if/def

Well, I did that in mine now.

On another note - I may switch the NetRadiant repository to git, as that seems to be better as we seem to actually work together. Then I can easily accept patches from you, and vice versa.

Did you already use that system?
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

I have only checked out from git.
So actually no, yet I guess it should be not very difficult to use.

Jut to warn, I am not very familiar with C code.. but I do test my changes heavily.

Btw is there any reason why gtkgensurf has never been ported?
I tried porting it.. after succeeding to fix splitting.. that brought me back on solid ground.

Hi!

I'm new here and the main reason I'm here is because I'm looking for help with q3map2.

I'm working on a map and like many people I was stoped by MAX_MAP_VISIBILITY. I would like to make my own version of the converter since no one seems to have made one with a bigger limit. I'm not much of a programmer but I did find the code and changed it for my small needs... But the problem is I can't build the .exe file.

This is what I get:

fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file

So my question is. Could you please tell me step by step how to create an exe with Visual C++ (or other software?)?
Will you include a bigger limit in future releases of NetRadiant?
