I made an Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid debian package of svn 249.

I have no idea about compiling on a 64 bit cpu.

Edit:

Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Download

Sorry... this revision did not exist. It's a glitch on the icculus.org web server that caused svnversion to fail.

Also, I can no longer do source packages, due to svn having problems on that host.

I am getting:

Fetching external item into 'games/DarkPlacesPack'
svn: Malformed URL for repository

Apparently, this svn build can't check out from https. Until this is solved, I can't make any more source packages.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Ok I'll make a new .deb named svn249.

Are you talking about
svn checkout https://zerowing.idsoftware.com/svn/rad ... nches/1.5/
If you run this command it'll ask you if you want to allow it.
I just selected to always allow.

Yes, but apparently the svn build on the icculus.org server does not support https.

I now bumped revisions of the svn repository so it is higher than 308, to avoid confusion in the future.

I thought you just got the svn on your pc and then uploaded it to the server.
