1) There is a section in the Q3Radiant Editor Manual from 2000 about something called the Patch Toolbar. Darned if I've ever seen it. Does this still exist?
2) Again in the manual, there's a method for rotating a brush around an arbitrary axis. It reads, "... The purple square at the center is the center of the selection and the axis around which it will rotate... If the user does a SHIFT + middle mouse button click on the 2D map window, the axis square will relocate to the coordinates of the click." I've tried every modifier/mouse-button combination to no avail and I haven't seen any purple squares since I last dropped acid. Is this functionality still in there?
3) Both Sock's and the Map-Craft tutorials on creating terrain refer to distorting brushes using ctrl-LMB-drag. Nothing doing. I feel like I'm totally missing something on this one.

Of course I understand many things may have changed or fallen by the wayside as the Radiant versions have progressed over the past 10 years. But I could use some reassurance that I'm not missing some blatantly obvious things or chasing ghosts.
