No video on my macbook pro

The game itself runs fine. But all the menus are pitch black. It is possible to join games etc if one manages to locate the right buttons. 2.2.1 worked fine on my system.

The problem lies with the menu screens, not the game.

Interesting.. DivVerent: could the 'non-power-of-2' change be responsible for those problems? Its one of the very few changes in 2.2.2 that i can think of that could affect this. On the other hand this would probably mean those damn apple gfx drivers are fucked up once more but maybe you can make a mac build without that change to see if its the problem.

Well, users could try appending the command line option -notexturenonpoweroftwo to disable that extension. If that does help, the next version of Nexuiz will disable that feature on OS X, like anything else too. I provided .apps with that change on http://141.2.16.3:7780/nex/osxengine_nopow2.zip

When will Apple finally release WORKING OpenGL support? It's simple: if a feature doesn't work, don't advertise the extension so a program knows it isn't available.

I was using the trick of using the 2.2.1 .App with 2.2.2 and it worked fine on my Macbook,

The new App with the notextureonpoweroftwo fix divVerent provided also works fine.
