Welcome to Nexuiz and our forums.

A blue clock? This sounds like the "show turtle" - feature, although I'm not sure, cause I've never seen it by myself. It's not the "lag" clock for bad ping, this should be white.

What I would recommend to you first: There is a file config.cfg in your Nexuiz\data folder.

Please open it with a text-editor and add this line: showfps "1"
Save and close it and start Nexuiz.

From now you are shown in the bottom right corner, how many frames per second you get within the game. This is not for solution, but will help for further diagnistics.

Next step - please, for this and every other forum where you want to get support, always post your hardware specs (at least CPU, RAM, video adapter, OS). So when you post how many fps you get in the game, don't forget to write us about your hardware.

In case of possible networking issues, it would also be interesting what type of network connection is being used. That is, LAN/WLAN, Router/no router (and if a router, which router), Modem/ADSL/Cable/Satellite/whatever and which ISP is being used, and of course, the country (so we can compare to the locations of the public servers).
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

I know it's dumb, but if you have a wireless router (even if the computer is running on an ethernet cable) and you have a wireless phone using the 2.4 Ghz band, you will get lags every time you get a phone call.

Also, I'd look at the connection type.

fast DSL, Cable, T1, and T3 should work fine.
Satilite, Dial up (doubt you're using it), and slow DSL will cause lags. Satalite especially, because of it's upstream rate.

Try testing your connection here:
