buggy screenshots and other problems

i was reported a problem with screenshots and weird mouse behavior. Other games seem to be affected too.
Could that be caused by a buggy patch?

Is it just the screenshots or the game in general? Well if other games are also affected i'd say the graphics card is toasted..

Looks like an offset error when saving the jpeg data.

several pc's seem to have the same problems, all due to the same Nexuiz instal / setup. mouse is acting "weird" too. will post more details when i can.

Well if that still holds true (does it at all?) why do you keep thinking its a Nexuiz problem? Also please tell us if its just the screenshots that show that problem or also while playing?

Was 4m just reporting your problem Leader? So is this now fixed for good or are those two problems?

Strange though putting files on a usb stick should not corrupt them i carry quite a lot of stuff around on my usb stick and never had any problems. But i also keep a backup of that stick on disc as i read that flash only allows for a certain write operations and the file access table gets written to for almost any write operation you do on disc ;)

It was Leader who reported the problem to me.

He wanted to download the full version of 2.2.2 and try again.

Thanks for the answer. Just in case you find out what caused the problems post them here. A usb stick does not change files. I think it would be 'ok' if it brakes on mac as usb sticks use vfat but some of the mac files use symbolic links which might brake on vfat depending on the unzip program used..

Well, good unzip programs would then duplicate the files... and cause no problems with the symlinks.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
