That will probably also get rid of the "no joystick found" error message in startup console? :)

Problably not, since default.cfg is read pretty late during the startup process...

Also its not an error message.. just telling you Nexuiz did not found any joysticks in initialize. At least its no error message in my linux-sdl build.
