I'd love to play but first I need some help.
I am running Debian 4 on a 1.7 Ghz Sempron with 512MB RAM and a Sapphire ATI Radeon X1650 (512MB.) I have the latest drivers but even with the graphic settings tuned to the lowest I can't get over 4 fps. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, I do. However I think I've pinpointed the problem and will try to solve it myself. Thank you.

Yes, I do.

Well, wouldn't it be about time to nag on somebody posting some Radeon-specific tweak settings in the Performance thread?
After all, the standard settings aren't very convenient, no matter if Linux, Windows, Mac or whatever.
