Hmm after reading the man page i think it should be

unzip nexuiz-15.zip
chmod 0755 Nexuiz/nexuiz-linux*
chmod -R a+rX Nexuiz

as X does not recognize binaries by itself?

The binaries already are executeable in the zip, so that's no problem

Yes you are right though there are some strange permissions too.. I 'misuse' this thread now as a reminder :)

Nexuiz/Docs is only drwx------ and its files are -rw-------
Nexuiz/data is only drwx------ and its files are -rw-------
gamesource15.zip is -rw-------
libpng12.dll is -rwxr-xr-x
Nexuiz/navnode and subdirs is only drwx------ and its files are -rw-------
nexuiz-dedicated.exe, nexuiz-sdl.exe, nexuiz.exe is -rwxr-xr-x
all but one of the mac dynlibs are -rw-r--r-- the other one is -rwxr-xr-x

think this should be fixed for 1.6.. or those permissions somehow stored in svn too?
