[FIXED with hotfix] 2.4 Alt+Tab not running on windows

Hey all,

Firstly thanks to the the dev team for this great new version and thanks to -z- for this nice website.
Since I switch to 2.4 I have 2 problems :
- The nexuiz-sld.exe version not running anymore.
- When I do a "ALT+TAB"(or typing the windows key) to back to my desktop while nexuiz is running, I can't back to nexuiz. Nexuiz is on task bar, I clic on it, I have the back cursor but nothing happen . Obliged to stop the process.

I don't try the fix patch. I should do ?

os : winxp sp2
cpu : amd64 3000+ @2600, 4*256 ddr
gfx : ati X800XL

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO WAKE UP TO 2.4.1 AND SEE IT DOES NO LONGER RUN FOR YOU????? So of course testing the hotfix is an good idea!!!!!!

Well that alt-tab thing was problematic in the past.. iirc ati drivers often corrupted the textures then. Might this be a new level of this bug?

BTW what does not work for sdl? And maybe pressing f10 when you see that mouse and black screen will also end Nexuiz..

Ok, I'll try the fix tonight.
If I remember well with 2.3 no-sdl version the alt-tab didn't run.

When I try to run the 2.4 sdl I got an windows error message. I'll give it tonight.

Yeah a certain 2.4 windows (sdl??) crash was fixed in the hotfix, maybe its the one you have. So lets see what you say after testing the hotfix

Please copy the data20080229.pk3 from data_old into data.. this one contains all the game data and as you see THEY ARE REALLY NEEDED

omg, I'm stupid ...

Everything fine now. Nexuiz.exe still not run but that's ok, sdl version is better anyway.
