Screen resolution messed up on linux

Postby spadewarrior » Wed Apr 02, 2008 8:31 pm

Hi!

I'm running version 2.4 on Ubuntu 7.10. I've only run the game a few times and it runs fine on SD (glx is another story). Oddly, now when I try to run the game its in a resolution my monitor can't handle so I get an 'out of range' message. I didn't change my resolution from my native 1024x768 desktop size so how could this happen?

More importantly, how do I change it back so that I can get into the game?

My specs -

P4 2.8ghz
1 gb RAM
nvidia 7600GT 512mb

Thanks! :D

Maybe something about your X config changed that made the 'old' frequency no longer available..
Well the config file for nexuiz is ~/.nexuiz/data/config.cfg
the interesting variables are vid_height, vid_width and vid_refreshrate and vid_userefreshrate.
Add them if not there .. vid_userefreshrate needs to be 1 so that vid_refreshrate is used :) vid_refreshrate is the hz you want to use.
