g_maplist on the server is wrong

Postby Diomedes » Fri Apr 04, 2008 4:23 pm

Hey,
I am one of the admins of the DCC server. We have a problem concerning our CTF-server. The maplist I get via rcon g_maplist and the maps which are actually played are these:
Code: Select all
"g_maplist" is "killall_organic_v1r1 starship capturecity_v2r1 dusty hydronexb3 eggandbacon runningmanctf ito Skycastle Darkzonectf begrot crossover-1.0 facing_worlds_nex2 reservoir-nex_b3 bonuscarousel1 basementctf mIKEctf2 lavaflag-20070428 silvercity controlfactor_v2r3 kaznexctf1 dismal facing_worlds_nex hal_palindrome 19mai kaznexdom1 bloodprisonctf dm_castle succer_socks_r3 evil(space)ctf sierpinski_beta2 greatwall_reloaded3" ["aggressor aneurysm basement basementctf bleach bloodprison bluesky darkzone dieselpower dismal downer evilspace farewell final_rage reslimed ruiner runningman runningman_1on1remix runningmanctf silvercity skyway slimepit soylent starship stormkeep strength toxic warfare"]

Though the server-ctf.cfg says:
Code: Select all
"
set "g_maplist" "'evilspacectf''hydronexb3''greatwall_reloaded3''reservoir-nex_b3''dusty''accident''capturecity''runningmanctf''lavaflag''eggandbacon''hal_palindrome''facing_worlds_nex2''bloodprisonctf-1.0'"

Well, i have tried many things, wheter the command in the maplist is right, wheter uploading a new config helps, wheter all maps are on the server etc but i haven't found a solution yet, so I'd appreciate any help by you. :)

As i told you on irc.. i guess the ' cause the problem. Try to remove them (and add a space between the maps instead then)
I'm glad i never had those in my example configs i posted anywere :)

HEUREKA!!

Yes, that solved the problem, thanks. I don't know who placed them there, they were already there when i became admin...

Previously these were generated by the menu when one setup his own listen server.
