Black Screen, but sound plays.

hey guys.
i remember playing this game a year ago and really enjoying it. i just re-downloaded.
i am having some issues tho. when i launch the .exe, the window opens, the music starts playing, but all i get is a black screen.

i am running a:
p4 2.24 ghz
512 mb ram
Gforce 7800

Try the hotfix version here :

If the problem is still present, update your Nvidia drivers can help.

Have you installed graphic drivers from nvidia? The game uses opengl and the basic windows drivers do not support that very well.. which might still be installed

Or maybe it just chooses a bad frequency your monitor does not like? search the forum for vid_refreshrate and vid_userefreshrate if you think this is the case..
