trouble with black maps while demo looping

Hi guys i am srry if this question exists already in another thread, couldn't locate it though.
I was trying to playback a couple of recorded demos with the ply command, and everything seems to work, except i dont get to see anything of the map. I can see all players powerups etc etc, but the map is pitch black.

Any suggestions on how to fix that? i am using the nexuiz-glx script , on a fedora core 6 linux box.

Nexuiz can't directly load maps from the dlcache, so demos appear black.

3 solutions :
- start the demo and type vid_restart in the console
- start the demo, press F11 (disconnect), and start the demo again
- move the concerned map from ~/.nexuiz/data/dlcache to ~/.nexuiz/data/
