Issue just getting it to run

Amd 1.8 ghz
2 gigs of ddr1 ram
winxp sp3
newest ati radeon drivers as of yesterday June 18,2008 (Radeon 9600 256 AGP 8X)

dloaded it from your site link then extracted it to a folder on my desktop (C:\Documents and Settings\F*CKMICROSOFT\Desktop\nexuiz-242\Nexuiz) then ran nexuiz.exe and when that did not work i ran nexuiz-sdl.exe. That still did not work. So i removed the config.cfg file from the data dir and tried running it. Each time it just flashes to adjust my screen resolution then goes back to 1280X1024 and then nothing. Now just a note before i updated my drivers the game would black screen when it would run but i could hear music.

Try creating a file "nexuiz-test.bat" with the contents

nexuiz -safe

in the Nexuiz directory, and try running that. Will that work? If yes, it is some OpenGL extension acting up in the driver... next thing to try would then be

nexuiz +r_glsl 0
