I am using Nexuiz 2.4.2 (downloaded the 2.4.2 package for windoze)
Problems:
I am playing Nexuiz and randomly my nvidia driver will crash. Before it does, the screen goes white and Vista informs me that Nexuiz is suffering from an "AppHang"
It gives me three options, to wait for the program to respond, to close the program, and one other option (forget which it is).
If I wait for the program to respond by clicking that option, I am left with a white screen indefinitely. If I click the close the program option, nexuiz closes down and a little yellow triangle pops up in my task bar saying:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
The event viewer (services.msi) took me to an interesting webpage with information on the event:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsse ... d1033.mspx
Also, when I got the white screen and the three options the description box contained this text:
Description:
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

This error that I have described has has happened many times and I have also noticed that my netgear driver crashes (although this could certainly be unrelated), at times right after the display driver crashes and I usually end up having to reinstall it.
This error has been the cause of much frustration for me, and I have tried the following solutions all to no avail:
A.
Complete reinstall of driver including removing any traces of previous Nvidia display drivers (registry entries or otherwise)
B.
Deleting and re-unpackaging the nexuiz files.
C.
Downgrading to earlier Nvidia driver packages.
D.
I tried SDL version of Nexuiz as well
This error only occurs with Nexuiz or while Nexuiz is in operation (as well as the Netgear error that pops up) and I have yet to see it happen any other time for any other program, app, or game.
