Host_Error: CL_ParseTempEntity: bad type 100 (hex 64)

That error started to appear recently, and it prevents from starting any level - I tried starting the level: with "map ..." command, from GUI (Multiplayer -> Create) and by starting a dedicated server and then trying to connect to it.
Compilation of svn-ed version of Nexuiz and Darkplaces was succesful (although with some warnings for data/qcsrc/server/). I think the problem can even be in configs so I'll modify/reset them.

Try to remove your csprogs.dat in data/, run fteqcc in qcsrc/client/ with the flags -Wall -Wno-mundane -O3 -Ono-c -Ono-cs -flo and do the same with the server and the menu.

Be sure to use the last svn version of fteqcc ( https://fteqw.svn.sourceforge.net/svnro ... ine/qclib/ ),

These lines are the important ones. If the second one's missing or it says that they're INcompatible (this can happen when the nexuiz-csqc protocol changes and you play a demo which was recorded with a different version) then you usually have the wrong csprogs.dat file

Yes, I thought it was the way you mentioned - problem with CSQC protocol, and I tried to rename/remove various configs (some .dat files too); and, what was strange, demos could be played easily - the problem was specifically with starting (loading) levels to play. Additionally, I thought there is no need at all to compile qcsrc/client. Thx for your replies, people .

I have the exact same problem while trying to run a demo that I played 2 or 3 weeks ago.. I don't know how to make the flags.. but I do notice this in the console included just before I have the same exact code as AU's problem...

unfortunately the only thing you can do is get a csprogs.dat with the right version. look for the line saying "CSQC revision <something>", with that you can find the SVN version you need
